Connecticut
United States
Nowhere does fall foliage like Connecticut, so it’s little surprise that from around mid September until the end of October thousands of people make the trip, almost like a pilgrimage, to see the vivid and vibrant colors. It can get pretty busy on the roads around Connecticut in the fall, especially during the weekends so if you fancy a more leisurely trip with less traffic it’s better to visit mid week if possible. Some of the best scenery is actually found off the beaten track so to speak, so it’s also a good idea to take some of the back-roads, pull on your hiking boots, pump up your bicycle tires or find some other way to take in the sheer splendor of color in Connecticut.
